Menopause Complex
Lifeplan Menopause Complex provides nutritional care for women going through the menopause. We’ve selected specific micronutrients, including Vitamin B6 for the regulation of hormonal activity, plus Magnesium and Vitamin B12 for normal psychological function and energy-yielding metabolism, to support the body throughout this time of change. Chromium has been included for normal macronutrient metabolism and normal blood glucose balance. Soya isoflavones have been included as a source of natural phytoestrogens, along with sage to support women’s wellbeing.

Lifeplan’s team of nutritional experts have selected a range of vitamins, minerals and botanicals, based on their contributions to a number of functions in the body that may be under stress throughout the menopause.
Throughout the menopause, the balance of hormones in the body changes. Specifically estrogen and progesterone levels decline, which subsequently impacts changes in other hormone levels, including serotonin. Menopause Complex provides a source of Vitamin B6, which contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.
The menopause significantly speeds up bone loss, and increases the risk of osteoporosis. It’s important to provide the body with essential nutrients for normal bone health maintenance, including Magnesium, Calcium, and Vitamin D provided in the Menopause Complex.
You may also notice more rapid changes in the appearance of skin, hair and nails, as collagen levels decline and hormonal changes occur. Vitamin C has been included in the formulation as it contributes to the normal formation of collagen for the normal function of skin.
